Harness or collar?

Basically, every dog owner wants their dog to walk relaxed on the leash.

Whether you choose a collar or a harness, neither is a substitute for leash training!

Here are some examples of how to use a harness:

A soft harness is highly recommended for puppies of small dog breeds. This ensures pressure distribution, especially in the chest area, and offers optimal comfort.

For fearful dogs, a combination of collar and harness is recommended. The so-called safety harness is also used here.

When using a leash, it should only be attached to a harness. If it is attached to a collar, the dog could injure its neck if it makes a sudden movement due to the length of the leash.

Even when driving a car, if the dog is attached to a seat belt, do not attach the seat belt to a dog collar. This could also cause injuries.

Harnesses are also used in certain dog sports. Harnesses are available in many different versions.

The traditional and classic H-harness or Y-harness is a harness for daily walks. The harness can be adjusted to the size of every dog thanks to the adjustability in the stomach and chest area.

For the daily walk, the decision whether to use a harness or a collar ultimately lies with the owner.

Our harnesses are classic H-harnesses . For puppies and small dog breeds, these are pleasantly light thanks to the plastic buckle we have specially selected. This ensures optimal wearing comfort. You can find harnesses for puppies and small dog breeds here .

Our dog collars from the collar design collection are also available from size XS. Stylish, robust and easy to care for, that is what we expect from our products. Printed fabrics combined with robust webbing make our collars and harnesses fashionable accessories for our loyal furry friends.
